Service Guarantee

  • Agnes Housekeeping Co. is committed to providing professional, high-quality cleaning services throughout the Chicagoland area. We offer a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. If you are not completely satisfied with our service, please contact us within 24 hours of your cleaning appointment, and we will address your concerns promptly. For any complaints, please use our Customer Complaint Form available on our website.

Payment Options and Policies

  • Accepted Payment Methods: We accept cash, check, Zelle®, and Venmo. However, we encourage clients to use contactless payments via Zelle® and Venmo for convenience and security.

  • Checks: Please make checks payable to Agnes Housekeeping Co.

  • Payment Due Date: Payment is due on or before the day of service.

  • Late Fees: Payments not received within a 10-day grace period from the service date will incur a late fee of 10% of the outstanding balance.

  • Returned Check Fee: A $30 fee will be applied for any returned checks, in addition to any outstanding balance.

Cancellation Policy

  • 24-Hour Notice Requirement: We require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling requests, including on holidays and weekends.

  • Cancellation Fees: Full service fees will apply if our cleaning team is unable to access your property at the scheduled time due to issues such as unavailable keys, doorman restrictions, or unfinished contractor work. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment will incur a 50% charge (minimum $50). Repeated last-minute cancellations may lead to service review or cessation.

  • Emergency Cancellations: In the case of an emergency, please contact us immediately, and we will work with you to accommodate the situation.

  • Temporary or Permanent Service Cessation: For long-term or permanent cessation of services, we request two weeks' notice to accommodate scheduling adjustments.

Appointment Time Accuracy

  • We strive to arrive at the scheduled appointment time; however, delays may occur due to factors such as traffic, weather, and unexpected client requests earlier in the day. In such cases, we will inform you of the delay as soon as possible.

Late Arrival Policy

  • If you or our team arrives within a 30-minute grace period of the scheduled time, the service will proceed without any penalty. If you are unavailable within this window, our cancellation policy will apply.

Safety of Clients and Cleaners

  • Client and Cleaner Privacy: We strictly adhere to a policy of client confidentiality. Personal details such as email addresses, phone numbers, and home addresses are kept private and are never shared.

  • Home Access: We require explicit direction from clients to allow access to the residence. Please notify us at least 5 business days before your scheduled cleaning if any service or delivery personnel or visitors will be on-site, or if there are changes in service type (e.g., a one-time deep clean or post-renovation cleaning).

  • Advance Notice for Changes: Advance notice allows us to adjust our schedules and prepare our cleaners for any special requirements.

  • Workplace Safety: Cleaners wear appropriate footwear to meet government safety standards. Any keys provided for entry are securely coded and contain no identifying information.

  • Household Hazards: Please inform us of any items that are not functioning properly (e.g., loose glass shower doors, reversed water faucets, exposed wiring, fragile objects) to prevent potential damage or injury.

Office Hours and Service Scheduling

  • Office Hours: Our standard office hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

  • Service Hours: Cleanings are scheduled Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Pricing and Estimates

  • We provide free estimates based on your unique cleaning needs. Please reach out to our office for a personalized quote or complete our online estimate form.

Compliance with Illinois Law

  • Agnes Housekeeping Co. abides by all applicable Illinois state laws regarding service contracts, payment terms, and consumer rights. Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. By engaging in our services, you agree that any legal claims or proceedings will be handled in Illinois courts.
